Chelsea Parker Guidry is an artist living in Portland, Oregon. Inspired by daily life, and the details in it, she is gradually creating the handmade life she wishes for. She likes to document, create, explore, and is greatly inspired by nature, collecting pieces wherever she goes, which will become part of the collections she acquires. By day, she is a letterpress printer at a local studio, and she dreams of someday making cut-paper installations. She would love to someday sell home baked scones out of an vintage airstream.
Abby Powell Thompson grew up recording her thoughts and dreams in a journal. Four years ago she moved to Portland, Oregon and started blogging; not only writing about her daily life but photographing it, too. She has no professional photography training but loves experimenting with vintage cameras and almost forgotten film types. She prefers the little details in life to the grand events and hopes to capture the small beauty of the everyday. She works by day in a children's shop and hopes to someday work for herself-doing what she does not know.
Tricia Martin is an eating designer living in Portland, Oregon. She uses food to communicate stories, ideas, or messages, exploring eating as a total sensory experience. The tastes and textures in your mouth, the act of chewing or feeding, the sights, sounds, smells and colors of the foods as they spread before us while we eat are all integral to what she considers and plays upon with the ultimate goal of connecting people with themselves and with others through food. It is through these sensory experiences that she weaves a story or a message into what it is we are eating and how we are eating it. When she is not thinking about, talking about, or making food, she spends her time riding her bike, blogging, and doing yoga.
